“We booked this house last minute for our fall break trip. It was great for so many reasons!! They allowed dogs, was one house off the sand, had great views of the beach/ocean/jetty from the patio, easy access to grocery and food options, plus there was a fire pit, sauna, and hot tub! The house was clean and well stocked with all the basic amenities. Drew the owner was very communicative and friendly. ”

“We loved staying here close to the beach and the access to local places, grocery store ect. Host was responsive and great and I would stay here again. My only down was the pillow I had I didn't like but I am a pillow snob at home too so most will probably be just fine. Place was clean, inviting , happy for the A/C in each room. The ice machine and water in fridge was not working and so that was a bummer ”

“A lovely well equipped old Balboa Island cottage. Tastefully furnished. The bathroom is downstairs whereas the two bedrooms are upstairs. The location is near the main streets on the Island - Marine Ave and Park Ave. I would prefer to stay again at the quieter end of the Island Near the Ferry. ”

“This house was perfect for our summer getaway. It had everything we needed and was walking distance to the pier, shopping, and restaurants. Drew had great communication to make sure we were settled and comfortable. The house was clean and the rooftop patio was great for dining and enjoying our evenings. ”

“The cottage was very clean. Owners were very helpful with checking in. The cottage is a very short walk to the beach (3 min) and downtown Seal Beach is a 7-9 minute walk to access restaurants and shops. ”

“We stayed in this house 5 years ago and we decided to return because it fits our needs. Being on the beach is the key. Not having the path in front of the house but just a block away is perfect. Being an older house makes it more comfortable for us. There are a lot of quirky things about this house (the ancient kitchen, the bunk room upstairs, the downstairs bathroom, the bed under the stairs) which suit us but maybe not everyone.”

“This place was amazing. My daughter goes to Cal State Fullerton and her apartment is less than a mile away. The Casida was very very clean and with all the amenities. We will be staying here again. Thank you to the host. ”
