“Quiet location but only 20 mins to Berwick upon Tweed with Holy Island, Bamburgh and Alnwick within easy reach. Bedroom was huge with a comfy bed. Staff were pleasant. Good choice for breakfast and their evening meals were excellent. Restaurant gets very busy so its advisable to book a table. ”

“We booked this last minute trip to Northumberland. We have driven past often during summer holidays and were looking for a hotel for a few nights. The staff were lovely and the food was excellent. The room was spotless but a little small, however as we only booked the night before we thought we were lucky to get a room!! Embleton is close to lots of attractions, close to the beach and Alnwick and Craster. It’s great value for the price and we will definitely be back.”

“Friendly service, especially at the front desk and the cleaners. Happy with the room, very nice/clean bathroom. Restaurant - limited options if vegetarian or vegan. Very "traditional" style but no real complaints ”

“Absolutely brilliant!! The room was lovely, everything in it you could want and more. Very generous with toiletries and refreshments. I had a perfect nights sleep! There is also a lovely garden you can use and enjoy. Staff were very relaxed, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was faultless, generous servings, everything on the menu you could want, hot and beautifully cooked. I had smoked salmon and scrambled eggs with a choice of toast.
