The place is spectacular, clean and comfortable and stocked with everything we needed for a great Vieques vacation. Charles was around to answer questions and the pool was cleaned and property maintained while we were there. “If you want busy and loud go elsewhere. I traveled here as a retreat with my partner- and all we wished for was more time here. This place is for people like us, who work hard and look for peace. What an oasis! The place is well equipped. The pictures don’t do it justice. The hospitality of the host and manager were unparalleled. We will be back! Highly recommended. ”

“Me and my family stayed two nights at Amarilla Casita. We had no issues, the conditions were basic, bathroom was clean, there was plenty of room to sleep. Love the island ! We had wonderful meals at El Norte restaurant. ”

“I was here for my birthday celebration. It was not the experience I was expected. We get a complaint letter from the hotel because I was calling my family on the balcony at 10:00 pm with regular voice. The other guest yelled to me and the hotel got their complaints and wrote me a long letter against me. They didn’t even ask about what’s going on. I felt uncomfortable. Also, there is no AC. "Our stay at this property was disappointing due to several issues: 1. No Hair Dryer or Hot Water The room did not have a hair dryer, and there was no hot water available throughout our stay, which made it very inconvenient. 2. Lack of Basic Supplies The toilet paper roll was nearly empty when we arrived, and no refills were provided. 3. Excessive Humidity The room was extremely humid. After participating in a bioluminescence activity, we were unable to dry our wet clothes overnight—even hanging them on a chair only made them wetter. Without a hair dryer or proper ventilation, we were forced to wear damp clothes while traveling. The humidity also affected the bedsheets, which felt damp and made it hard to sleep. 4. Unhelpful Property Manager We contacted the property manager for assistance, but they were unable to provide any solutions to these issues. Overall, the poor conditions and lack of responsiveness made our stay uncomfortable and frustrating. I would not recommend this property to others unless these issues are addressed. "
