“We loved the 2-bedroom apartment due to its spacious and comfortable feel! The location is great for access to restaurants and the best beaches. We had a power outage for part of our stay but they were quick to run a generator to keep us comfortable. The washer/dryer is not working and doesn’t look to have been for some time. Overall this place and Vieques is great- you really can’t ask for more!”

“A friend I stayed at The Rising Sun, Isleta Marina one night. Our host, Jazmin, was easy to communiate with. The interior of the condo was clean, cute and well- maintained. There were ample supplies as described on the VRBO site. We were delayed in arriving so, unfortunately we didnt have much time there. S.ome areas on the property (pool area, some hallways) needed work. We knew there was a restaurant on the island and were planning on that for dinner. We didnt bring goceries for one……

“Perfect in every way! Exceptionally clean inside and out. This host accommodated us in every way. Beautifully decorated. Quite neighborhood (unless you are bothered by roosters). Apartment is exactly as pictured. ”

“We LOVED staying here. It is VERY clean and had absolutely everything we needed, including a washer and dryer, which was a huge bonus for us. The shower is amazing! Sheets, towels and bedding were super soft and felt great after a long day at the beach. A short walk to local stores and restaurants. The neighbors did play their music somewhat loud during the day, but it was kind of nice and added to the atmosphere. During the evening it was very quiet and relaxing. We would definitely stay here……

“The accommodations were basic but exactly what we needed. Spectacular views. perfect for our family of 3. Super responsive host. Our trip unfortunately got cut short due to a family emergency but we’d definitely stay here again. ”

"Our stay at this property was disappointing due to several issues: 1. No Hair Dryer or Hot Water The room did not have a hair dryer, and there was no hot water available throughout our stay, which made it very inconvenient. 2. Lack of Basic Supplies The toilet paper roll was nearly empty when we arrived, and no refills were provided. 3. Excessive Humidity The room was extremely humid. After participating in a bioluminescence activity, we were unable to dry our wet clothes overnight—even hanging them on a chair only made them wetter. Without a hair dryer or proper ventilation, we were forced to wear damp clothes while traveling. The humidity also affected the bedsheets, which felt damp and made it hard to sleep. 4. Unhelpful Property Manager We contacted the property manager for assistance, but they were unable to provide any solutions to these issues. Overall, the poor conditions and lack of responsiveness made our stay uncomfortable and frustrating. I would not recommend this property to others unless these issues are addressed. "
