“Was there for just a day during a long layover. It's close enough to the airport and to shopping to be a good place for day use for a long layover. Modern and clean and very polite, professional, friendly staff. The private room was small but comfortable. Shower was very good! Would be happy to stay here again in the future.”

“It's amazing! Only walking distance from MRT Shaw Station. Just google map the exact street. You need to turn an extra left to see Mariveles Street. The hostel is a good quiet place to sleep. Clean and well-maintained. Shared bathrooms are good too. They provide toiletries like (Towels, Shampoo, Shower Gel and Conditioner) Free breakfast in the morning. Just a simple breakfast like (Bread or you can toast it on the oven, coffee, water and Sandwich spread of your choice) For commercial……

“people of the hostel are very nice and willing to tell us the tips of traveling in Manila. Besides, the hostel is well designed and quite comfortable. However , it might be a bit noisy at night,but it's not a really big problem.”

“Very eclectic; the owner takes care of this hostel as he is there everyday with his family and pets. It's your basic hostel- bring your amenities especially insect repellant. Water pressure can be erratic at times, but this is island living so its expected. Great food and great staff. Service can be really slow- avoid if it looks busy. ”

“The staff were always friendly and willing to assist. Shoutout to May who organised me a shuttle from the airport in the last minutes. Loved the air conditioning in the bedrooms!”

I decided to try out some hostels for this solo travel trip and I’ve come to the conclusion hostels aren’t really for me, but I would definitely stay at The Outpost again because of the staff.
