“Very convenient. Easy access to public transport. The room is clean and good size. The only thing i do not like is the smell of the room when i first time i arrived. The fumes of cigarette or tobacco was so strong. It seems like the nicotine sticks on the wall. You have to bring your own disinfectant and a good smell rubbing alcohol to neutralised the smell. Over all rating from me, it is very good. ”

“This place has character. The staff was excellent and accommodating, very friendly and responsive. The rooms are a bit old but clean, everything works, good air conditioner, and decorated with antiques, handmade local items, even a large bookcase with hundreds of interesting older books. The parking is onsite, a bit crowded Saturday night but no one blocked you in and there is overflow parking right outside the gate just a few dozen meters from your room. “The property is about 20 mins drive to Tagaytay which is not too bad considering that a hotel stay in Tagaytay is just for a place to sleep after spending time roaming around the city. With the reasonable price this place is a good find. We took a room that sleeps 7 with a private room, so we have a plenty of room for 5. Staff is very helpful and accommodating as well.”

“I had some meetings in Calaca and decided to stay the night in Canyon Woods. I was not expecting much from previous reviews and I was surely IMPRESSED with what I saw. Check In was very efficient with knowledgeable staff. The room itself was clean and modern. The bed was comfortable and air conditioning which is a must was strong and cool. The best thing about this hotel is the view during sunrise. You get a glimpse of the sun with the Taal Lake as your background. The breakfast was plated but……

Das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, das Zimmer(Suite) sehr geräumig mit kleiner Küche, großem Bad, einer Couchecke und in meinem Fall mit einer großen Terrasse, auf der ich auch eine Abschiedsparty mit Verwandten und Freunden abhalten konnte. However, the property's safety needs improvement, particularly during the rainy season. The stairs are dangerously slippery; I unfortunately fell on the stairs while carrying my toddler, resulting in a seven-step tumble. I strongly recommend installing rubber guards on the stairs to prevent similar accidents.”
