“Our first time to this area of Kent. Broadstairs, what can you say about it. Well quality sums it up. A lovely town, beautiful beaches, great eating places, friendly locals. Our apartment, well appointed. Great location. Cool decor. Our host very helpful. Parking is in the road as two spaces on plot already taken. Not an issue but in peak season could be a challenge. Reviews mention comfy beds, its true. We could walk to the pub in the evening overlooking the beach so no duty driver required. We……

“I have pictures of our disgusting dirty room with spider webs & uneven flooring. Smelly moldy rooms with wet stains on the walls and ceiling. The Wi-Fi didn’t work and neither did the TV. There was a tea kettle, but no tea or coffee. This looked nothing like the picture you showed!!! I would like my money refunded. I would not recommend this property to anyone! We slept in our clothes and couldn’t wait to get on the ship to shower and send our clothes to the laundry.”

“We were just looking for somewhere on the south coast and not particularly Deal. We picked this one because it was the nicest one we found per the listing and it lived up to expectations. The rooms were all spacious and very tastefully furnished and decorated. Everything was spotless. The kitchen was much better equipped than other places we stayed. Sue was very friendly and good with communication about our stay. She met us at the property to show us round and also give advice about the area.……

“Lovely place all you would need is there will be back ”

“On our arrival at Love Lane the temperature outside was starting to drop (1st Feb 25), on opening the door the warmth from the heating hit you. The property was very clean, modern and cosy with extra blankets if you should need them. The owner lives at the back of the property and while we were there we didn't here them at all. Bed and bathroom were clean with plenty of room to move around. Tea and Coffee supplied with an additional coffee machine and pods was a nice touch. If you had any issues……

“We had a truly wonderful stay — one of the rare times we all felt completely at home while being away, even as a well-travelled family. Every need was thoughtfully anticipated and taken care of. The house is beautiful, spacious, and tastefully decorated, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The location is perfect — central enough to explore all the key sights on foot, yet with convenient parking that made day trips by car easy. A truly satisfying experience!”

“The Location of the house is Perfect! The only thing to criticise was that we booked for 4 People but only got linen and towels for 3. unfortunately no response to my Text Message and Email. We figured it out since we only spent two Nights there. On First sight the house was clean but I discovered old receipts and empty Water bottles under our bed when I checked it before leaving. Apart from that - excellent property I would definitely recommend. ”

“I would have liked to give a glowing review of this apartment but holiday was spoilt by arriving to find no essentials like dishwasher tablets, bin liners, cleaning cloths, waste in shower blocked, kitchen sink unusable for washing up as plug did not fit. Could only leave messages for manager which were not returned and had to spend a great deal of my holiday time chasing for these things. Not the relaxing experience we had hoped for on our first holiday for 2 years. Shame, it could and should……

“Had an excellent stay at the Old Town House. The location is perfect for anyone visiting Margate as you are a short 15min walk away from the train station and right in the old town centre next to great coffee shops, restaurants and more. The room was beautiful and clean, bed super comfortable and overall a lovely stay for the price. Really easy check in system too with keyless access. Thank you Anne & Mark”

“This house was really stunning - so different from the usual holiday houses which can be quite bland. Beautifully furnished and decorated, in a lovely quiet neighbourhood with a beautiful view of the sea. The pool and sauna are a real treat and as we were lucky with the weather, we were able to truly make the most of the pool! Lovely, Clean, New Hotel with a rich history

"The hotel has recently been refurbished but still has the ‘old’ side which you can select the room for stay if you are interested in this historic experience. Those rooms will be available for cheaper prices as well. I chose to stay at the ‘newer’ side for my accommodation this time as they are usually more comfortable for a good night sleep. I was correct and the room looks amazing and spacious too! What a wonderful refurbishment with great designs. Staff were also very helpful and friendly with the hospitality service. Their breakfast or dining area seems lovely although I took it outside instead as there’s so much to do and eat outside the hotel as well. I would loved to stay here once again if I come round for a visit once again. "
