“We had a lovely stay at Shenandoah. The host was lovely and so accommodating of everything that we needed. There was a general breakfast room where we could have our takeout dinner and our room was very clean and comfortable. ”

“The Doghouse is a great place to stay. Owners have thought of everything to make it so comfortable and welcoming. Amazing breakfast, really comfy bed and all absolutely spotless. Great base for visiting Kent coast. Parking in street, we managed to park close by each day. Surrounding area and properties appeared run down in places but would definitely recommend staying at The Doghouse”

“The room was clean and the staff member we met was friendly and helpful but the hotel is very basic and bed had worse mattress I’ve ever slept on. TV and internet didn’t work in our room”

“The room was tiny, as were the corridors, the walls are very thin so could hear people talking and using taps in neighbouring rooms. Breakfast is also pretty basic and the local area doesn’t feel massively safe, especially as a woman walking alone at night. The owner was lovely and really helpful though.”
