“The property is nestled in a quaint and beautiful setting. The owner is very hospitable and friendly. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and provide a true WV pioneer feel. We very much enjoyed our stay. ”

“The only two downsides were a lack of WiFi and cell service (only available in the main house) and no GPS. They do send you very detailed directions, but if you are wholly unfamiliar with the area, it can be a little unsettling to be on winding roads outside of civilization with no cell service. I admittedly panicked (we drove for 12 straight hours overnight), and our friend was on the verge of declaring us missing because he couldn't get in touch with us. Obviously, we were totally fine and……

“This was our first stay at a bed and breakfast and we couldn't have been happier with our choice. The owners are friendly, helpful, and attentive. Our room was lovely and we slept well. Breakfast each morning was delicious. The property was next to the Homestead so it's an easy walk if you book activities through the resort. We would definitely stay here again if we return to the area.”

“We had a lovely relaxing stay at the salt cave lodge. We came in the day before our booked spa treatment and stayed at the lodge. The accommodation was incredibly well thought out and provided a relaxing experience. ZEN!!! The bedrooms looked like rooms in a cave with curving walls, soft lighting, large salt lamps that glowed and even crystals embedded in the walls. The details – the wood tables, blankets, rugs, were impressive. The main room was a living room/dining room/kitchenette. They……
