“This cottage was perfect for our family of 3. Located in a charming village with great bus links into Oxford, we enjoyed the local pub for dinner, Waterperry Gardens to see the snowdrops, and having everything we needed in the cottage to make our stay easy. Communication with the owner was timely and easy. We loved learning about the history of the property and the village. We have already recommended to friends and if we find ourselves needing to stay in the area again, it will be our first……

“Family and friend gathering. 9 adults over 50 years old. We enjoyed being on the Themes and spent our time outside. The house is not meant for that many adults even though it has 5 bedrooms. Many of the beds were too short and one room is clearly a children’s room. The place needs some TLC on furniture, rugs, beds (sag in middle) and outdoor cleanliness…lots of spider webs. But that also adds to the charm. Things to note. One room has up and down steps to bathroom and a very narrow opening. We……

“We had absolutely no heating. I tried several times to contact the owner by email, messenger and by phoning her. No reply. I had been in contact with her regarding check in via email and messenger, I even sent a photo of the temperature in the house. 10 degrees. I had to source 2 radiators myself, which a kind neighbour lent us. I would like a refund for our inconvenience ”

“A cosy cottage in quiet location. Perfect for visiting Whipsnade zoo and Harry Potter studios. Had everything we needed for a short stay. Only negative was the parking as it was difficult to find a space on the very narrow lanes.”
