“Having travelled over 250 miles we arrived at the apartment. Problem No.1 - The surrounding area was littered with dumped items, a sofa, beds, car parts etc, it looked like a junk yard. No.2 - Bearing in mind I had paid in advance, and had confirmation of our booking. - We arrived to find the apartment already occupied by a family who arrived eariler in the day and had paid more.. We had had no communication from the `hotel` despite my previous email requesting check in information. So, it`s……

“We spent 2 nights at the Edgecumb Arms for a family reunion. The room was superb, with great views over the Tamar. It was very well appointed. The English breakfast was delicious and copious and the staff was extremely attentive and welcoming. Bonus point - we were able to able to bring our dog. Amazing walks in the Edgecumb park which is one minute away or alongside the river Tamara. This was our second stay and will happily stay again in the future. ”

“The apartment is a home from home and has everything you’d need! We were two small families so a house shower room would have been good rather than having to go in to one of the other bedrooms for a shower etc not a massive deal if your one family and there is an extra toilet! Comfortable beds, great location although did get a little noisy at times! ”
