“Driving up, at first I questioned my choice. The exterior was very unkept-the grounds overgrown. Upon entering, I could see interior renovation was underway. At check in, there were several ahead of me-the clerk apologized for the delay and upgraded me to a first floor king room. It was nice. The bed was very comfortable...the climate control efficient...the bathroom clean=plenty of new towels! The morning breakfast area was clean with a pleasing hot/cold food presentation. “Even on a busy MSU graduation weekend, we had a very quiet stay and saw only a few other guests. This must have been a fun place for conventions pre-Covid before companies discovered they could do seminars on Zoom. It was sad to see the empty meeting rooms and lounge. Our room was clean. The bed was very comfortable. Everything worked like it should. There were just some superficial things that were well worn, like some of the carpets, and the parking lots were a bit rough. The neighborhood was……

“Love this cottage. My daughter graduated from MSU this year so unfortunately I will probably not be utilizing this cozy cottage any longer. I will miss it. I stayed here for football games and anytime I visited my daughter. Highly recommend. Extremely clean and has all the amenities. ”

“The property was exactly as described. We needed a place to stay to attend a graduation at Michigan State University which was only 12 minutes away via highway. The place was either recently upgraded/remodeled or just really well maintained. It was spotless and nicely decorated in a very modern way. Excellent communication - very caring and thoughtful hosts. “It was a cold and dreary weekend, but warm and cozy in front of the fireplace at this home. We had a wedding in this town and was able to visit and gather with family and friends at this home and at the wedding. Communication with host was adequate. Plenty of towels, kitchen utensils and pots and pans and even a full supply of spices. There are no overhead lights in this house. More lamps, stand lights brighter lightbulbs would be helpful.”
