“I was in New York for a training and was able to meet up with my son who's a student in Queens. We spent the weekend exploring Montauk and several parks, and even saw some seals sunning themselves on the rocks! The apartment had everything we needed including two separate bedrooms with very comfortable beds, and a simple, but functional kitchen. The host was very communicative and even offered several options for grocery shopping and enjoying LI. Wonderful experience!”

“My husband, two boys (6 & 11) and I stayed in this quaint, little, clean apartment for four nights. They provided coffee, creamer and bathroom necessities. It was perfect for a short stay. When we did need something the owner was quick to reply and get it to us. If need be we will stay here again.”

“I stayed here with another adult and my dog while visiting family in the area. It suited our needs and the fenced yard was wonderful for my dog. The bed was comfortable and we didn't have any issues or needs. The apartment was quiet and the parking was convenient.Only slight challenge was the AC. It is a basement apartment so you have to reach up to get to the AC controls. Totally manageable unless you are on the shorter side. ”

“We loved our stay at the Dogwood Inn. We had the best of both worlds--a quiet, peaceful setting in the woods with Rte. 25A and all of its conveniences just a short drive away. This was our first trip to Long Island, and we fell in love with the general area, all the old homes in Miller Place, the great Italian food at Savino's Hideaway just down the road, and the tasty treats at McNulty's Ice Cream Parlor. Cedar Beach on the Sound was nearby, and we were only an hour (or less) from the gorgeous……
