“We had a great time! Spent most of our time downtown south haven. The house was very clean and in a great location! Loved the view of the lake and beautiful sunset. Our kids loved fishing off the dock and spending time in the loft area. The owners were very nice and accommodating. Great place to stay! ”

“We had the most wonderful week staying at this property. The home is beautiful and very clean. Beds are so comfy and the rooms are spacious. The area is so breathtaking and the patio is beautifully furnished. We had so much fun on the lake using the paddle boards and kayaks available. Becky was a great host and made us feel so welcome. We have stayed in 4 properties in the area this summer and this is by far our favorite!”

“Our family gathered at the Sweet Lake House for a reunion and we had a great time. The house was comfortable and clean. Attention to detail was apparent with a well equipped kitchen, decorations, and furnishings. There was plenty of living space both inside and out. With five young children, our time was mostly spent by the water. The deck by the water was a perfect spot to gather with ample furniture and partial to full shade most of the day. We really enjoyed using the kayaks, paddle boat,……

“The house was very very nice. If You are looking to stay close to a lake that you can walk in, this wouldn’t work. I’m not complaining they are in the process of remodeling but there were things that didn’t work properly. Ants didn’t bother me but they were there in the kitchen. The washer/dryer didn’t work. The price is excellent. But there needs to be repairs and an updated explanation of what is there. I would stay again but I just expected something different when I stayed recently.”

“The house was beautiful and was stocked with everything we needed. The sandy beach was great. Fishing off the dock was amazing! My 6 yr old granddaughter was the fishing champ! She caught a turtle, catfish, bass, gar, and multiple Blue gills! The older boys really enjoyed the kayaks. The one night that it rained, everyone hung out on n the garage. Everyone had the best time! Would definitely recommend!”

“Relaxing and quiet. No neighbors during the week. Puffy Lux mattress in master was very nice. The 2nd bedroom bed was too hard and no ceiling fan was a negative. Everything else was good. Pontoon boat rental is a must.”

“Peaceful and quiet property, well-loved and cared for house, in great location near berry picking, apple orchards and South Haven. Our family had lots of fun! The lack of wifi and cell service was a major plus— we read one book each! Thanks to the kind and helpful hosts who even brought us extra towels when we needed them. We will be back!”
