“This rating would have been 5 stars across the board however the hotel is older and some minor updates need to be made. However, it was very clean, the staff were helpful and kind. “I really enjoyed staying at The Salty Mermaid. It is an absolutely beautiful location! It is a small hotel and doesn't seem fancy from the exterior, but it was clean and nice inside! It was probably one of the best locations you can get, as you walk right out on the beach, you have chairs and umbrellas provided, and you can walk to the shops and restaurants! I will definitely be going back! ”

“Check in was a breeze. I was asssigned a unit and all the relevent information was provided to me. Location is excellent if you looking to visit the beaches or just hang out in Daytona. Room was comfortable with a desk, fridge, microwave and a seperate sink. Shower does take a little time to come to hot temperature but when it does it feels great after a long day.”

“This is my 5 or 6th time there. It was clean, bed was ok, couch was good. Bathroom needs some attention. Needs new updated shower heads. Right on the beach. Has a nice pool, lounge chairs, jacuzzi hot tub, tiki bar that opens memorial day weekends. Over all. Older hotel, very quiet on the south end of Daytona beach shores. The beach view is AMAZING. I would add photos but this crappy app is not allowing me.”
