“We stayed as it was local to an event we had the next day, can’t complain for the price so overall happy. Breakfast is continental so no cooked or warm food, not sure if there is any option but couldn’t see any and wasn’t offered so i assume not. Very quiet location, value for money.”

“An overnight stop on the way to Pembrokeshire. Staff were all very friendly and the food was very good. The hotel is on quite a busy road, though we did go for a walk along the local canal and golf course and that was pleasant - and we avoided the thunderstorms !”

“Great staff, bar was packed on arrival but we were checked in to our room straight away. Far too busy & noisy to eat in the bar, so they opened the restaurant for us and another couple so that we could eat in peace. Despite the number of customers we were served quickly and efficiently. Very good food. Room was a bit tired, flaking paint and in need of a bit of updating but the bed was comfortable and the room reasonably quiet even though on a main street. “Generally OK. However, the pillows were poor quality and affected my sleep. Also the Sheep room has a skylight window that cannot be covered. Consequently I was woken up by sunlight streaming through the window at 05:00am and could not get back to sleep.”

“Lovely hotel with parking, entrance a bit tight owing to the age of the building, clean, comfortable, in the 'deluxe room' . Excellent choice for breakfast. ”

“Loved our stay at here, staff were very welcoming and helpful and patient with our young Vizsla dog. Ideal set up for staying with a dog, with rooms located opposite site of the car park to the cosy pub. Food was excellent. Definitely would come and stay here again. ”

“If you like a real log fire on a cold night, cosy and clean accommodation, charming hosts and a good hearty breakfast, this is the place for you! Nothing was too much trouble and it was nice to get a real feel and understanding of the local area. The garden is a real treat! ”
