“The G hotel is a lovely choice for anyone staying in Galway. Overall, the hotel style is very unique and beautiful. You can tell in some areas though that the hotel is starting to show its age and could use some refurbishing in our guest room the shower nozzle that controlled the temperature was completely broken, causing for freezing showers for the first portion of our stay, and then extremely hot showers for the final portion of our stay. Service could also be improved. I found myself often……
“Really pleasant stay at the Radisson. Food was lovely (although a bit on the expensive side for portion sizes). Wait staff were lovely in the ground bar. The room was in excellent condition.
There was confusion at the reception when checking in - the reception staff tried to say the room was not pre-paid and asked me to pay again. This took several minutes to sort and a lot of back and forth with different staff members, which wasn’t the best start to the stay after spending close to 3 hours……

“Lovely BnB with an excellent breakfast. Only issue was the shower which was very tiny and very hard to control water flow. Otherwise 5 star. As with most BnB's there are narrow stairs to climb which might be difficult for older people or those with luggage.”

“The location can't be beat. It is literally on Eyre Square in the heart of Galway, right next to 10 Euro a day carpark and 2 minute walk from the Train station. The breakfast was huge and tasty. I will definitely return. The part that stood out was the customer service! From reception to the dining room to the cleaning staff everyone was so nice and went above and beyond the usual. They didn't just help. They took the time to chat and offer advice. It was so welcoming. WELL DONE TO ALL!”
“Fabulous stay. Absolutely enjoyed our stay. The outdoor heated pool / jacuzzi, steam room, sauna were a nice treat. The room was very cool. I can’t wait to go back. Hopefully for longer next time. ”
