“This hotel has a very nice view and is a great choice for shooting or watching the stars. Their service staff is very friendly and will assist you very well with things to do at the top of the mountain to fix inconveniences. The rooms are slightly smaller than similarly priced hotels, but I think the starry sky at night definitely makes up for it, and the balcony on the side of the house offers a great starry sky experience. “We really liked the cabin, very clean and nice decor. View was very pretty. There were just a couple of issues. Very hard to find off of 160. I hope you make the turn into the property more visible. We missed it going towards MANCOS then heading back to property after leaving MANCOS. There was no trash bin near the road so we had to leave our trash in the studio.”

“We enjoyed every single day that we stayed in the yurt. The view was amazing, hearing the ducks in the morning was nice. We got to meet Cindy the owners dog. For who ever is thinking about staying in this yurt let me tell you, don't think about it to much just do it you will not regret it. When ever we decide to visit colorado again this is where we will stay again guaranteed. To Craig and his family the yurt was perfect!! Thank you.”

“We loved our night here. they provided everything we needed and communication with our hosts was great. after a long day of traveling, we needed a night to take a break and relax and this place provided the best backdrop to do so. there was plenty of place that our kids to explore and unwind. A night of perfect stargazing provided the most amazing experience. our morning hike on a trail that was recommended by the host was also a memorable experience. Highly recommended. ”

“My daughter and I are driving from Texas to Wyoming and stopped here to visit a friend working in Cortez. We so wish we could have enjoyed the house longer because it was so clean and cozy with plenty to enjoy. We will definitely be back for a longer stay!”
