“we loved the property . gorgeous lanscape and views . pleasant personnel , felt very safe. cabins are very nice designed . walls are very thin and you can hear all the wildlife outside and the rain . didnt mind that and fortunately it was very cool at night so we werent hot (no AC). the doors werent well sealed so we did have several spiders coming in but nithing major. ”

“Excellent stay at Mawamba lodge. Gardens around the ground are great and we saw sloths and Toucans a short walk from our room. Breakfast was great as was the dinner we had at the restaurant. Pool can get quite busy with families and children. Town is only a short walk away or they can provide a river taxi. Also took part in the tours arranged by the hotel which was fantastic with a very knowledgeable tour guide. Would highly recommend it visiting Tortuguero ”

“Wir hatten eine Familienunterkunft mit zwei Schlafzimmern sowie eigenem Jacuzzi. Es gab zusätzlich eine voll ausgestattete Küche. Die gesamte Unterkunft war sehr schön und ruhig gelegen in einer wunderbarer Gartenanlage. Das Personal war durchgehend sehr freundlich und zu jederzeit hilfsbereit. Das Hotel ist der perfekte Startpunkt um Ausflüge in La Fortuna und Umgebubg zu unternehmen”

“The most amazing place; in the forest!! So well groomed, beautifully landscaped, peaceful, remote, quiet. Suites are very large, spacious cabins with outdoor space. Our bathroom actually had trees which are part of the forest! Food was very tasty. Customer service excellent. ”

“Vue incroyable sur le volcan. Le personnel est attention et offre de bons conseils. Le complexe n’a pas de piscine , ni de restaurant sur place mais offre la possibilité d’utilisé les installations du Lost iguana qui est à 500 mètres. Situé à 25 minutes de La Fortuna ce qui n'est pas très loin non plus. Juste la vue vaut le prix. Pura Vida”
