This is an old house from the 1800’s with all the charm you would expect, but completely renovated to have all the modern conveniences and very clean. The wood burning fireplace is so inviting. The breakfast is not your typical breakfast. It is a three course delight. We stayed 2 nights. The first morning we had a sweet scone, followed by a poached pear followed by a potato frittata with lox and poached egg. The……

“What an amazing place to stay and enjoy the Mad River Valley! Rachel and her family made the stay perfect, adding special touches that made you feel right at home. The location is fabulous - walking distance to everything you need in Waitsfield and right on the river. Our kiddos loved running around on the property and playing with the cat and bunnies. We’d recommend staying here and hope to visit again someday!”

“Visiting family in Vermont, very charming place to stay, quaint, quiet, fun in the lake, grandkids visited, great cookout, although the steps to the one bedroom were challenging for my handicapped wife, never thought a futon would be so comfortable, especially for me, at 6’2”, 260 lbs, it was great, we had loads of fun, short trips to restaurants, and another visit to Tom and Jerry’s, thanks so much, it was awesome, will be back!”

“This house was wonderful. Our party of six had plenty of space to stretch out and also areas to gather. A particular highlight was the Jacuzzi, which was beautiful and easy to access. Another phenomenal amenity is the large fireplace connected to both the dining area and living room. We will definitely be coming back here in the future.”
