“Brilliant staff, clean room and comfortable bed. Plumbing, namely water draining away shower/sink, was a little slow, which could cause the shower tray to flood into the bathroom. More an issue in the morning, possibly due to system capacity. Wedding party was a little noisy on one night, but to be expected.”

(perfect) Room was amazing, nice little upgrade. massive bed, plenty of space to work (desk area). full selection of tea & coffee, and some nice biscuits. iron & ironing board in the room. everything i need was there for me. I personally judge hotels, by the shower.... and WOW amazing shower, with the best smelling shower……

“Excellent service. Very old building so there a few things that are as best as they can be but are not what you may expect. For example, the tub is higher than normal and would be problematic if you are older. Heat seemed to be missing except in the bathroom. Still, we would easily stay there again when we return. ”

“The Caley Hotel has a lot of history in the buildings, but the rooms are fresh and modern, with all the necessary details. We were in a room in a small courtyard away from the bar and restaurant and it was very quiet. The staff were all lovely and helpful. It would be nice to see even more of the local seafood on the menu, but the sea bass and rock bass were both very good. They seemed a tiny bit short-staffed, but everyone was clearly doing everything they could to keep things ticking over. My……
