“I ordered online, it shows all rooms have kitchen, but the one I lived didn’t. There wasn’t even a sofa in the room! The guy who checked us in wasn’t very friendly, I mean cold. Maybe he was not happy that day. As a over two hundred dollar room (including tax), I feel a little bit disappointed! Only thing good is it’s very convenient to get to the beach. ”

“I’ve stayed at a few properties on Virginia Beach over the years and none I’d go back to. However, The Capes is on my list of hotels I’d rebook. The rooms were clean; the property was clean. The indoor pool was warm and seemed pretty clean. They offer an on-site restaurant. I did not try this time around so I can’t speak to the food there. They also offer ample parking that is easily accessible. I guess if I were to offer one thing I’d like to see, it’d be a soap rack in the shower or towel rack……

“The cottage was clean with a homey atmosphere, unlike sterile hotel rooms, and within walking distance of the beach and dining. Highly recommend!”

“My only issues were that we had to ask for sheets and pillows for the sofa bed. We also had to ask for extra towels and was given pool towels. The hotel quickly brought the stuff we asked for. It’s nicely renovated. The room was nice.”
