“The building is older but don't let it fool you. A quaint 60's era motel that is remodeled and up to date inside with the outside feel of a 1960s mom and pop motel. This is going to be my permanent stop when visiting Norfolk. Nick and his wife are great. The Bay Inn is a family run business and you're treated like family when you stay here. Nick let me know if there were any problems on the property just let him know and he would take care of it. But I never had any problems. We stayed 5 days……

“Stayed at the hotel for 4th of July weekend, the hotel was very pleasant. Staff was great, helpful, and accommodating. The lobby area was very nice, and clean. Our room was very spacious, also very clean, beds were really comfortable. Will definitely be staying here again next time we are down near VA Beach. “I ordered online, it shows all rooms have kitchen, but the one I lived didn’t. There wasn’t even a sofa in the room! The guy who checked us in wasn’t very friendly, I mean cold. Maybe he was not happy that day. As a over two hundred dollar room (including tax), I feel a little bit disappointed! Only thing good is it’s very convenient to get to the beach. ”

“I was surprised! We thought we booked at the regular booking Oceans 27, however these 2 Hotels have the same name, one is on Atlantic and is Oceanfront, thats Ocean 27, which stayed at previously. This is Oceans 2700 and is across the street and 1 block in on Pacific, so we couldn't check in our normal place. We drove around the block to This Oceans 2700, had no problem checking in with our prior reservation. It is SO MUCH NICER than Ocean 27. Make sure you pay attention to details and……
