Kelley was a great host and answered all our questions before and while we were there! My parents are still talking about how perfect the house was! I will say the driveway is very steep. Most of the vehicles were unable to make the climb up the drive. Luckily the road isn't busy so we parked below and walked up. ……

“My wife and I decided to take our young children to the mountains for an impromptu vacation. We were pleasantly surprised by the home and the beautiful lake upon arrival. This home is extremely well stocked and was very clean. It is in a great location to all of the conveniences you may need but also feels somewhat secluded for that peace of mind. As for the host…Karen is one of the nicest and helpful hosts you could possibly ask for. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking.”

“One of the cleanest, best stocked VRBO's I've ever stayed in. Quick communications with owner. They even had decorated with a Christmas tree :) The only warning I'd give is that you have a large vehicle (like a Suburban), the road these chalets are on would be challenging! The road is very narrow with switchbacks.”

“We had a wonderful extended weekend at this peaceful retreat for our son’s wedding nearby. The house was beautifully decorated, clean, and incredibly comfortable. Waking up to the serene view of horses grazing in the pasture and watching the scenery change throughout the day was such a treat. It was the perfect escape and would love the opportunity to return. ”

“The informational packet provided by the hosts was extremely helpful and very thorough, and even provided recommendations for places to visit. We only had one minor issue during our stay which we were able to communicate to the hosts to resolve. The kitchen in the cabin had anything we could possibly need and we were able to easily cook multiple meals after visiting the nearby Ingles. Overall it was a great stay and we would recommend this location to anyone looking for somewhere central to stay……
