“Cozy, cute, and convenient. We brought two wool blankets, thankfully. Not enough warm blankets in the cabin.”

“Super cute, clean and nice. We stayed in the winter. The wood burning stove is a cool touch and everything was as we thought. One note for folks coming in the winter is that the parking is a bit away from the cabin so you need to lug your luggage and food through the snow, which may not be easy for everyone. “Exactly what we were hoping for to celebrate my husband's 50th birthday - cute, historic, and cozy! Well-stocked kitchen and bath. So thoughtful to include towels for the hot springs. The host greeted us when we arrived and gave us a very thorough tour and explained how everything worked. We saw elks in the yard every day. Be warned, the upstairs floors are incredibly creaky and loud. Going to the bathroom in the middle of the night will wake up the whole house! But that's part of the charm.”

“The overall effect of this little cabin is so much greater than the sum of its parts. Once you figure out the awkward parking situation, the detached laundry room, and finicky heating & cooling, the rest of your time will be some of the best you've ever had. Mountain King has one of the best balconies in the entire world, I'm willing to wager, and walking straight into Yellowstone Park was one of the coolest wildlife experiences I've had. I actually feel silly reviewing it so well - because……
