“This was the perfect cabin for our group of 6. It was my daughter’s birthday & the 3 girls had the basement to themselves which included bedroom (double bed & twin bunk), bathroom, game room with pool table & TV, as well as access to deck with hot tub. The owner thought of everything! Places to put wet boots, hooks, extra blankets, pillows, a very well stocked and organized kitchen. Great location - just around the corner to Hawksnest & 10 mins to town. I could go on and on. I would……

“Melissa the host is amazing!! Super helpful and very easy to reach and communicate with -response time was always super quick!! Cabin was clean and fully stocked with everything we could need/want!! Hot tub was perfect!! We've stayed at a lot of vrbo's and hot tubs are typically warm water and hopefully 1 jet works! This hot tub was hot, clean and lots of jets!! Perfect:) The stars at night were clear, plentifully and amazing!! The fireplace outside was nice and you can get a roaring fire……

“Cain is wonderful in a great location and very spacious. Everything was as advertised everything worked. Beds were comfortable, plenty of hot water. The views from this property are amazing. Fires in the fireplace every night. We did not have any negative issues even though we were snowed in for 2 days we had an amazing time! Be sure to have 4/all wheel during snow season. Newland has a lot to offer as does Roan Mountain. Mikes coffee is really good just a short drive into Newland. Not gonna……

“Our party of four adults really enjoyed the cabin. We mostly treated it like a motel room. No cooking or use of the jacuzzi. But the kitchen was set up well and seemed to have all the equipment and utensils necessary. The decor was rustic without going overboard. Beds were comfy.Great location, Easy access to property. We may certainly return if the need for a larger place arises again.”

“We had a great stay here! Beautiful views. Short walk to top of mountain. If stairs aren’t your thing you might want to skip. We really had a wonderful time getting away from the city. Hosts communicated all through out the stay. They are really accommodating folks. Can’t wait to see this place with some snow! Wish I was still there <3”

“This property was a convenient, comfortable spot for our family of 5 (kids ranging from 3-8). Comfortable beds, awesome views! A few things to note: when we booked, we were under the impression that it was on the slopes as per the photons provided(which have since been updated). It is a short walk. Not a problem, but we were looking to be able to step out on the slopes/watch skiers! The house is comfortable, but the walls are thin and you can hear everything. Definitely bring sound machines if……

“We arrived in a very windy winter storm, the host called on our way to make sure we were aware of when the road would no longer be salted/city maintained. We made it in fine. The cabin was very quaint and quite cozy. The WiFi was down due to the storm but that just made it all the better as we were looking for a getaway from it all. We saw 5 deer in the pasture in front of cabin. The hot tub was excellent. Ample space heaters to supplement the split unit. Everything we needed to prepare……

“Amazing property, we loved how large the house is and all the separate living areas. Great for large families. Must drive to slopes but not that far. ”

“The layout, size, objects available, things to use, or do at the home, and location were fantastic. We really enjoyed the open property concept outside, as well as the size of the yard to enjoy, on the TOP of a hill. Ski resort and hill were .1 miles away. The hot water was the only issue, that went off and on a few times during the stay. Great house and would definitely stay again.”
