“White Fence Farm was perfect for our stay! Plenty of room for the 4 of us and close enough to campus to walk to orientation (8 minutes). The location is perfect! We walked to dinner (The Local), shopped a little and grabbed some ice cream on our walk back to the house. Easy check-in, good communication and overall a great experience. ”

The kitchen is immaculately equipped for pretty much any meal you want to make, the beds and linens are comfortable, it’s clean and welcoming, quiet, and in a great location with so much privacy and so many birds to hear. Be advised the bunk room is an alcove “open to” the downstairs living (there is no door or curtain.) ”

“We all had a great time. Love this area of North Carolina. Just had an issue with the cleaning crew. We arrived about 15 minutes before check in and the cleaning crew was still there. Since we were slightly early we drove around the area and came back at check in time. We waited for about 20 minutes for them to leave and finally went into the house. We were told that they still needed to finish vacuuming and to scrub the floors. We looked around told them to just finish vacuuming and not to……

“We were very happy with our stay at the Hideaway. Nice quiet spot to enjoy a couple of days in the mountains and all the attractions near by. Very clean and nicely supplied. We will hopefully return at some point.”

The house is beautifully designed, exceptionally clean, and has everything you could need. The incredible view, hot tub and sauna are the icing on the cake! Communication was great.
