“I went away with an "It was OK" experience. Hotel, though nice, was very dated. The restaurant was ok but very loud. The staff were vwry pleasant and helpful. For the price would I.do.it again? Probably not. To be fair they had a number.of activities associated with the hotel we didnt use becauae of our short stay. Perhaps a longer stay and utilizing some of the things they offer would justify the cost.”

“Overall, our stay at this hotel was enjoyable, earning its solid 4 out of 5 rating. The bed was excellent—comfortable and well-appointed, ensuring a restful night. However, cleanliness could be improved, as the entryway and bathroom tiles felt slightly sticky, and when we wiped up a spill, the rag picked up noticeable dirt. “We have stayed at Boxwood Lodge several times over the past two years. Love the location, walkable to town. Rooms are very nice. Nothing extravagant, just clean and comfortable. Bathrooms could use an upgrade. But are totally fine for a night or two. Staff is very friendly ”

“Loved the little town of blowing rock we stayed inn. Mountainaire inn pretty room was good for 2 people. Only thing is we wish we had a fridge n microwave Loved being able to walk around town to eat, look around and shopping. Also had a great bike ride up in Boone.”

“I loved the proximity of the hotel to all the downtown stores. We had excellent breakfast every day. The pool was always clean. The only issue we ran into was the fireplace temporarily stopped working. ”
