I agree with the reviewer who commented about some things in the home not being “up to date” (like what you would find in an older home vs a newer construction) but we found it to be charming. “Place had a beautiful view and accommodations. Window was out in one of the bedrooms with plexiglass taped in, which made room cold, but I am sure they have fixed now. Overall loved our stay. ”

“The home is so unique in its design with a loft fit for Heidi, an old children’s book written by Spyri. The grandsons were immediately drawn to the loft, and the children’s furniture enhances its intrigue. Two bedrooms and baths downstairs provide excellent creature comfort for the adults and the great room encompassing the kitchen, dining room, and living room with the massive stone fireplace provides a warm and perfect environment for socializing.
