“This spa and hotel was amazing. Beautiful building, amazing accommodations and several restaurant choices attached to the hotel itself. Spa was nice. They do numerous styles of massages but also have a "grotto" which is a room with a dry and steam saunas, large hot tub, steam shower and an ice cold shower in addition to ice cold mint-scented washcloths to use. Outside was amazing too. The outdoor pool doesn't appear to have chlorine in it. Not sure if it is the spring water but it feels good……

“Unfortunately I stayed at the Royal Sonesta for only one night -- and it was the night a tornado hit very close by (as in across the street). Given that there was a major weather emergency for St Louis to dig out of the Royal Sonesta was AMAZING. All of the restaurants were open and busy, the staff as 100% perfect, there was a huge prom going on in one of the function rooms, and my room was beautiful and quiet when I was ready to sleep.
