“What a find base camp Snowdonia was. Very easy entry and check-in, as we arrived late and it was dark. The bedroom was very clean and the individual bunks with curtains made it very private, even though we were sharing. The whole place was very secure.”

“I had a great stay at Y Pengwern Hotel. The room was super cozy, spotless, and had everything I needed to feel right at home - perfect for winding down after a day out. I really appreciated the extra heaters they provided—perfect if you like the room toasty and warm. The view from the window was absolutely stunning. “I stayed here with my family and we were fairly shocked regarding the service we received throughout our stay. First of all, I counted 18 hairs in the bathtub when checking into our room, the bathroom clearly hadn’t been touched. My family and I had booked 4 rooms at the hotel. We all noticed that none of our rooms had been ‘restocked’ when they had been cleaned. For example, no cups or amenities around the kettle biscuits, tea/ coffee, sugar etc were replaced.
