“This beautiful home and remote, peaceful surroundings were perfect for my friends and I to reconnect when we met for our 50th high school reunion after not seeing each other for many years. “The property was great! Very clean and had everything we needed to cook meals and just relax. Lake was nice but it was a little chilly over the weekend. The hosts left some muffins, cookies, fruit and some beverages which was we though was a nice touch.”

“Three generations of our extended family spent a wonderful Thanksgiving at this superlative property. Children loved the downstairs playroom and bunk rooms. Adults enjoyed luxurious en suite bedrooms. The cooks were pleased with the well-stocked kitchen. Thanksgiving Day featured a beautiful snowfall. “Very good - better than expected”

“The home is way more private and beautiful than I knew to expect from the photos. We were really kind of blown away. What a beautiful place in a beautiful home in a beautiful town with a gracious and responsive host. The house is a short (7 or 10 min) walk from downtown Shelburne Falls where there are numerous diners, cafes, restaurants and shops. I’m a cyclist and there were amazing rides immediately accessible right out the front door - I did 25 to 35 mile rides each day, road and mixed/gravel……

“Great place to stay! Very cozy & comfortable with a creative flair to the decor. Definitely recommend for a relaxing getaway with convenient access to general store and nearby wilmington. We especially enjoyed the hot tub with lake views!! Our only recommendation would be to keep a path around the firepit down to the dock mowed/trimmed. Thank you to the owners for making the stay welcoming and enjoyable!”
