“Very clean, nice location, efficient and courteous staff. Unfortunately, out of the many daily activities advertised on the website, almost none took place, and the mini club was basically just sitting the children down and make them colour/paint. The swimming pool was always very very busy, and because of the heat, the lake level was very low, it was not very inviting, and no canoe or kayaks were available for hire. “Room with a view! Very nice! Contrary to some other reviews, our room was nicely clean nd the staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very generous and tasty with a very attentive and friendly server. Strolled around and found a wonderful gourmet restaurant nearby on the main road with a view of the lake. Only drawback was, being a Friday night, the nearby outdoor bar was a little loud until around midnight. ”

“We stayed at hotel La Vela while attending a wedding nearby. We were more than pleasantly surprised by the hotel itself. It was in an excellent location within the town, on a quiet street a couple of minutes walk from the historic center & lake. Rooms were clean with a balcony & nice bathroom & beds very comfortable. “The owner of the hotel Francesca is literally there 24/7. You get anything that you need in a heartbeat. The room is really big, it also had a balcony and a spacious shower room. The lake is very close therefore it is easy to walk or cycle there. We rented the bikes just for €5 for a half day from the hotel. A boat ride to the Island was very enjoyable.
