“We spent two nights here as a family while visiting the area in March of 2025. The house is in a quiet neighborhood, close to a grocery store and restaurants. Easy drive to Monterey or other nearby areas in the Salinas valley. Although the house itself is small (a “casita” after all) the 3 bedrooms are surprisingly large and even have closets (plus one has a half bath). The backyard is enchanting and relaxing. Grace is an excellent and thoughtful host and everything was in order when we arrived.……

“Great place to stay if you're looking to be far out of town and have a relaxing weekend! Nice grill, hot tub and fire pit. We were shocked by how comfy the bed was as well! Daniel was very responsive when we had questions.”

“My mother and I were visiting the area and are so happy we found this listing. The house was close to everything, well equipped, very clean and roomy. There was a very nice outdoor area as well, unfortunately it was too chilly for us to enjoy. The Host was great with commutation- quick to reply to any questions we had. Would definitely rent again if I am back in the area. ”

“This is a beautiful house high in the mountains 24 minutes from Carmel Valley. The beds are very comfortable. The bathrooms are clean, large and up to date. The kitchen has everything that you need. The huge porch is overlooking the Carmel river so you can hear the water as it travels past the house. The hot tub is an added bonus. We did not want to leave the moment we arrived. “We had a great time in Monterey. The house is clean, comfortable, and peaceful. Easy to connect with property owners; great communication. The house is near stores and about 15 minutes to the Aquarium. We brought the family and the house had plenty of space for all of us. If you are looking for a quiet comfortable stay this is the place. ”

“The rental house was very clean, updated, close to sites and the host was very responsive. One of the nicest rentals we have stayed in. Lots of compliments from my family. We would stay here again! ”

“This is an above and beyond home. Every detail is meticulous, not ostentatious but lovely, warm and inviting. The bed was the most comfortable ever, the kitchen was insanely equipped with everything you could possibly imagine, the grounds were immaculate, the hot tub was wonderful and it was one big playground for kids to explore and revel in! "1.The hair dryer was broken, it didn't work at all, I asked the staff to give us another hair dryer and he refused, 2.the sound insulation of the room was very poor, the guests in the next room could hear clearly, it seriously affected the rest 3. I paid more for the breakfast here, but the breakfast ended at 9 o'clock, many guests didn't eat, it ended too early. It is very unreasonable 4.The quality of the mattress is very poor, the spring feeling is very obvious, the whole bed feels like shaking when it moves slightly and all the experiences are very poor. Would not stay at this hotel again. Would not recommend to other guests to stay here."
