“Wonderful property in an amazing location, just a few minutes from downtown Carmel, Monterrey, and within the 17 mile drive’s entry points. A Pebble Beach gem! The owner was easy to communicate with and did a few extra touches to make it a really nice stay for us. ”

“This was a great little place to stay. In a wonderful location between Monterrey and Big Sur.The neighborhood is quiet and either the other units are silent or there is really great sound proofing as we never heard anyone else. There were cars so we know they weren't empty. The unit was very clean with plenty of towels as well as a blow dryer and an iron, also has an oscillating fan, I was very happy with that. Target is right across the way and we were able to get any items we forgot to bring……

“The apartment was light, bright and clean. We liked the paint scheme and many large clean windows. The record player was fun. Super close to restaurants, shops and the ocean.We have grown accustomed to 11am checkouts at other places. The 10 am checkout surprised us because we didn't look at the checkout instructions until the morning of. So we had to scramble a little bit.”

“The studio apartment at Barlocker’s Ranch was perfect for our quick visit to Salinas. It was very clean and the beds were super comfortable. The area is beautiful and we enjoyed walking our dog around the property. Samantha, the host who we met upon arrival, was incredibly kind and friendly and made us feel very welcome. All communication with the hosts was clear with quick responses. We hope to return in the near future. ”

“Visiting family in Carmel and found this amazing property last minute! From the check in process, communication leading up to our visit, and the property itself everything was 5 - and the location! Best location with off street parking! Will definitely be back and (reluctantly) shared this property with my family! Just hoping they dont book the week I want next year!”

“What a fabulous stay we had! Even before arrival Jane reached out to give us the details on where to park, etc. Once we arrived Jane promptly showed us the beautiful penthouse. A perfect place for 2 couples to stay! The view was absolutely lovely and we walked everywhere!We had dinner at the Porch the first night and enjoyed it so much that we cancelled our reservation for the following night in Pebble Beach and enjoyed dinner #2 at...The Porch! Not only was the food delicious, but the staff……

“We stayed at Mary’s for a month waiting for our new condo to be painted, etc. it was a convenient and beautiful location.Mary is a gracious hostess and v friendly. Her room cleaner was not v thorough; we found a used water bottle under the bed and kitchen/bath area under table dirty. I should have mentioned that to Mary. “ Kitchen” and cooking items were great, except there was no sharp knife or cutting board. I pointed that out to Mary. We would definitely stay there again.”

"This is an excellent budget hotel. Their cleanliness is outstanding, and the attention to detail is impressive. I truly believe this hotel has been severely underrated. Honestly, it’s fantastic and very comfortable — especially when it comes to hygiene, which is exceptional. On top of that, the price is very affordable. Its location is extremely convenient, right next to shopping malls, making it easy to meet all your needs for dining, shopping, and transportation. It’s a great place, and I can guarantee I will definitely come back again. "

"1.The hair dryer was broken, it didn't work at all, I asked the staff to give us another hair dryer and he refused, 2.the sound insulation of the room was very poor, the guests in the next room could hear clearly, it seriously affected the rest 3. I paid more for the breakfast here, but the breakfast ended at 9 o'clock, many guests didn't eat, it ended too early. It is very unreasonable 4.The quality of the mattress is very poor, the spring feeling is very obvious, the whole bed feels like shaking when it moves slightly and all the experiences are very poor. Would not stay at this hotel again. Would not recommend to other guests to stay here."
