“Giovanni was an excellent host and very helpful. The video sent to us prior to arrival showing how to find our room was so good and precise. Our room was clean and spacious, with tea and coffee facilities. The private terrace and breakfast provided was plentiful and the staff were so friendly. Would definitely recommend this property, very quiet but only a few minutes walk to the busy streets of Matera. Many happy memories made. Thank you. ”

“A gorgeous view of the Sassi and Matera. We were a quick walk from sites and food, plus had easy free parking close by. The staff were very friendly and the room was gorgeous. Be ready to get your stair-master on. There was an inside direct road into Matera Saadi center, but we preferred to wander the old part with gorgeous views over the valley. So up and down we went. ”

“This resort is about 15 minute drive from the historic district of Matera. I had stayed in the center of town in the other cities we visited in Puglia. I liked the quietness of this location. The room was elegantly furnished with high arching ceiling. The staff was excellent and the breakfast was great. ”

“少有人第一次到義大利就到過Matera，就是這個念頭，我們風塵僕僕地來到這裏，只因這裏有Sassi文化遺產，還有附近的 Trulli。老實說，Sant' Angelo不好找到，reception的地點有改變過，我們費了好久時間，ㄧ直到現在，我們還是擔心會不會誤闖了ZTL？見到洞穴屋的第一個感覺只有「哇」，很興奮，也很驚奇，甚至馬上跟台灣的好友ㄧ家人FaceTime分享。裡面很乾淨，浴室的水柱也很強，真的要挑剔的是床和棉被都有小小粒的砂子，但這是難免的，洞穴屋不就是這樣嗎。飯店內沒有免費停車，這跟訂房時Hotels.com上寫的不同，代客泊車的費用記得是26歐。請記得提早一小時前order取車，因為動作真的很慢。洞穴屋的本身真的很棒，值得親自體驗。”

“The place was very convenient. My family and I kept the main door open for about 15 minutes to let fresh air into the house, since there are no windows.
