“We stopped on route to the Malvern garden show. Lovely place to stay lovely staff, good menu plenty of choice, good hearty breakfast. Big comfy bed. 5 stars x”

“An excellent experience, the room was quiet and the windows opened fully to let in fresh air on a warm evening The staff were welcoming and friendly. The food was delicious including the generous cooked breakfast that was included in the charge for the stay. I would happily use Salwey Arms again.”

“Really nice pub, convenient for Ludlow and the Shropshire Hills. Winter weekend break for us, nice big clean quiet room, comfy bed, plenty of space and large bathroom. All the staff very friendly and efficient, had a nice meal there - steak well cooked - and the breakfast was tasty, good quality ingredients and served quickly and with a smile. The bar area was nice, log fire burning and lots of locals in there. One negative was the water temp in the shower - I imagine as it’s an old……

“A lovely old building with uneven floors and stairs that made walking around funny! Room was comfortable and clean, had everything we needed. Breakfast was nice as was the owner. No complaints, except perhaps the limited ale/beer - could have had more variety of Hobson or other local breweries than lager/cider which meant we only stayed for one pint, before finding a pub that had beer we enjoyed. Shame really as it was a lovely old pub”

“Hosts made us welcome as soon as we entered. So much tea and coffee available and no short cuts for anything. Endless breakfast and whole place spotless and modern. We will be back thank you both.”
