“We had a wonderful experience at this beautiful home! The hosts were very helpful and responsive, all the amenities were as described (or better), and we all felt very cozy and comfortable while we were in the home. If you are bringing food, also bring things like sandwich bags and foil as needed, but everything else was provided, more than enough for the 10 of us! Thank you to our hosts for a wonderful stay!”

“Had a wonderful stay at the Shangri-La Mountain Retreat! Not a stretch to say one of the best stocked rental homes ever I've ever booked. We stayed two nights with three families including kids ranging from 2-12 years old. Everything you could ask for was available for cooking in the kitchen with more than enough glasses and tableware in excellent condition. There is a high quality gas range which was wonderful if you like to make meal. The hosts had just installed a new grill which we used to……

“We decided to stay here to celebrate my mom's 76th birthday. There were 6 of us with plenty of room for more. The place was quant, quiet and just want we needed for a long weekend. The cabin was close to Julian but far enough away that you felt the quiet that nature has to offer. Amazing sunsets and loads of turkeys to entertain us all, especially the dogs! Melisa was a great host and made us feel very welcome. I'd definitely recommend her place and will stay here again”

“Shambala is a beautiful and peaceful getaway. Great place for relaxing and enjoying nature - lots of birdwatching, tree watching and stargazing. Beautiful art and a well-supplied kitchen. We were there during a cold snap, and the wood fireplace took a long time to heat the house, but Jill was very responsive and provided extra blankets and a space heater which kept us cozy and warm. We had an utterly relaxing weekend and would definitely come back! ”
