“This property is just walks away from Skibowl East and walking distance/short drive from Government camp restaurants and stores. This made our spring trip really memorable, my 4yo daughter could just walk to skibowl to go tubing and walk back whenever she's tired. We loved the view from the big window in the living area. It's really convenient for family with young kids to stay here. The place was very clean and have most things that we needed. There're also board games for everyone and some……

“We visited our daughter in Hood River and had an awesome trip. The property was in an excellent location and made it easy to get to restaurants & attractions. Home was very clean and had off street parking. I would definitely stay there again.”

“My daughter and I stayed here while participated in the 2024 Columbia Gorge Marathon (her) and half (me). This was the perfect “home” to base from. Close to the event, but not right in the middle of it all. In fact the marathon course passed right by it. The location was very clean and stocked. The beds were also comfortable and well appreciated. We would absolutely stay here again. ”

“We love the Thunderhead Lodge and have stayed in many of the rooms. We love this place. The only thing I could say negative is that the pool is no longer 102 degrees. The heater doesn’t work as well and they’ve tried to fix it but it isn’t working still. It was about 92 degrees according to the owner who’s in a law suit with the company that fixed it. So hopefully they get it back to where it was because if it’s windy outside at all during the winter, it’s unbearable to go in.”

“Overall a nice condo that is in a great location. Of note to those with small children, the floorboards by the bedrooms are very loud and creaky. The walls are also very thin and sound travels through all the bedrooms. The two bedrooms also share a bathroom, which is challenging if there are kids sleeping in each room, you’ll need to use the downstairs bathroom if you don’t want to go through the bedroom. Also, the blinds are light, so the rooms are bright until sunset and at sunrise. Finally,……

They were very attentive and helpful! We had zero issues. Loved that we could walk from the apartment to downtown hood River to get dinner each night. Can’t recommend this place enough! ”
