“this was our second stay at the Hotel Gran Playa within a year, we checked in late due to flight delays from Madrid to Alicante in the historic (el Apagon) black out in Spain the receptionist explained about the black out and no electricity no lights in our room tired and hungry from the ordeal and no bars or restaurants to go to, a lovely lady getting ready to go home after her shift I was asking where we can get something to eat offered us pizza from the kitchen i think her name is Mercy,……

“This is small hotel with full kitchen. The building is of heritage importance with tasteful contemporary updates creating a quite magnificent product. The room we stayed in was very comfortable with a large luxurious bathroom. Due to the small nature of the hotel, check-in, hotel access are a bit different from a normal hotel, however was efficient and easy. “Great property, excellent location ”

“Very close to the airport, parking on street within 50 yards. Consum supermarket opposite. Plenty of restaurants nearby which are open to 23:00. Room is ok with fridge and kettle, bathroom has shower, bidet, towels and soap. No lift, all rooms are up one flight of stairs.”

“Superb, well priced hotel. Booked with short notice and was pleased with everything. Comfortable beds and nice, clean, modern rooms. There's an area on the ground floor where you can sit with desks. The staff were kind enough to let me stay there for a short work call after checking out. The WiFi is good enough for video calling. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.”

“This was a really good find! The hotel is tucked away in a residential area which I loved, near the Bull Ring, and a 10 minute walk to the beach The room and whole place was spotless and lots of little details like decent shower gel, coffee pods and even slippers! Everyone on reception was lovely, I was early so sat by pool and got a msg when room was ready.
