“The house was as described, the owner was very accessible and very responsive. maybe a bit more backyard landscaping would enhance the outdoor grill and table but outside of that our stay was great, we would be back.”

“We had a brief and wonderful stay at the tiny house. Adam is a responsive host at a fantastic location. This tidy, tiny, house had all our family of four needed to end our visit back on the big island. The location felt remote and yet minutes to Hilo’s historic district as well as quick access to the nearby surf break. Gas range and outdoor fireplace under the covered porch made for lovely home cooked and memorable meals. Overall, a gem! ”

“The entire property is ideal for a tropical vacation. Not necessarily a Hawaii vacation. It was about 45 min from Kilauea, an hour from a swimmable beach, 5 minutes from Fissure 8 (private property in spots), and 25 min from the ocean. The worst part of the house was Kilauea didn’t erupt! I don’t blame Matt but I think he could’ve done something to help it erupt. All pictures were taken within 45 min of the house. One thing I didn’t take pictures of: the fruit trees! The strawberry guava tree is……

“Great location close to Volcanoes National Park and Volcano village. The cabin is charming and comfortable and tucked into the most beautiful cloud forest. We loved the fireplace in the evenings after a day out hikingClose to Lanakai Brewing, a great spot for beer and pizza. ”

“Great position, accommmodated 9 of us ranging from 3 to 72 yrs really well. House is a little rumpty but we loved finishing our active days with pre dinner drinks at the pools over the road and cooling off with an easy dip in one of the many pools. Richard was a really helpful and easy to contact host. Well equiped kitchen. ”
