“This is my second time staying here, and once again, Renee at the front desk has made the experience absolutely fantastic. “The hotel was beautiful and in a wonderful walkable area. Our room was comfortable and clean. The problems came with the Do Not Disturb sign and breakfast. Housekeeping walked into our room while I was walking naked to the shower, while the sign was on the door. They sent an apology truffle assortment and a handwritten note to apologize while I was out of the room with the sign still on the door! Twice they entered my room. When it came to breakfast, in a nutshell, it was almost a half hour late……

“The Tidal Basin is just across the street from the hotel, and the hotel has its own private bridge across the street to the Tidal Basin, which is in a great location to view the cherry blossoms at the Tidal Basin and go to the National Mall. The service staff is very friendly, and the hotel is tastefully decorated, clean and warm. The room is large and overlooks the Tidal Basin from the window.We came to see the cherry blossoms this time with my elderly mother. The hotel is very conveniently……

“Beautiful hotel with easy access to National Airport. Hotel provides a shuttle to the terminal, but because we had a very, very early flight we had to take an Uber - which worked out just fine. The downside is that the area is very commercial - so if you want to go for a walk after dinner ther isnt much to see - just office buildings and hotels. No restaurants so you have to eat in the hotel. Their restaurants/bar is fine, but menu is a bit limited and understaffed. But the staff were excellent.”

“Amazing stay, from the front desk manager upgrading me to a balcony too, to the rooftop bartender and the amazing drinks he concocted to the chef behind the scenes that added the dazzle dazzle and came out to speak were all great, hospitable and helpful. Top notch service and care were given in all areas and the hotel is just in a beautiful and walkable location ”
