“The Heron is a beautiful hotel. We stayed in the Heron King, and were very impressed. The bathroom, with real marble tile, a beautiful shower, and the provided soaps and lotions were amazing. We loved the Heron theme, down to the clothes closet with heron print, heron robe to use and even heron drink coasters. Rooftop bar is a MUST, we had cocktails there with a great view of the city. Ate breakfast in the Kiln, was awesome, with good sized portion, lots of bacon and really good sour dough……
“Great hotel enjoyed our stay! Staff was amazing. First time staying in the area was within walking distance of shops and restaurants. Took the trolley to the waterfront had a great time overall. Only wish the parking wasn’t $40 per night and room was just a bit smaller than expected. But will definitely be staying here again”

“This is me and my wife's favorite place to stay when we want a staycation. The mixologist on staff is amazing (if you are into mixed drinks), and the hotel is so close to many of our favorite restaurants in the area. So walkable, yet off the beaten path. As a lover of books, getting to take books home is a bonus. We stay here at least 2 times a year.”
“I would definitely stay here again. The location and price was perfect. My only small issue I had was the housekeeping staff knocking on my door at 9 am asking if we were ready for check out (check-out is “before noon”). Didn’t appreciate being woken up and answering in my pajamas. But other than that, it was a great place to stay. ”
