“The Plough is fine. It is looking a bit dated and in need of refurbishment. The rooms are spacious enough and the aircon works well.
I stay in a lot of hotels and think the Plough is overpriced for what it offers. That’s probably why occupancy was quite low during my stay.
At dinner the waitress spilled wine over one of the diners at my table. The waitress didn’t know what to do and laughed, probably in embarrassment. She evidently needs retraining on how to deliver service properly.”
“Lovely cosy two room b&b with very welcoming and friendly hosts.
The rooms are spacious and comfortable with everything you need for your stay whether it be short or long.
The breakfasts are exceptional, a full English or amazing home made fluffy pancakes just two of the choices.
If we go to any of the surrounding areas in the future, Toms of Tregaron will be the first place we contact in the hope of securing a room.”

“I’d give Melin Tregyb 5* for cleanliness and the room was large and airy with a very comfortable double bed.
The owners were very quick to respond to emails but it would be comforting for me, as a solo traveller, to have an hour per day when the owners could be guaranteed to be in the building. ”
