“The location is beautiful and right in the centre of town. 20 minutes walk from the train station and 5 from the ferry terminals. The balcony on our terrace had plenty room for the 2 of us to sit there and enjoy the view. Our room was comfortable although the shower cubicle on the small side. The room and hotel in general, although rather dated was spotlessly clean and well maintained throughout. The service from the breakfast team was superb as was the choice and quality of food on offer.……

“The Hotel Acquadolce is superb, it is a three star hotel, but it more than makes up for its three stars with five star service, and super friendly and helpful staff. Michael and Lucia stood out, but all of the staff went above and beyond to make the stay comfortable, enjoyable and one of the most pleasant hotel stays I have ever experienced. “We have just spent a lovely week in the Hotel Al Fiori with our two teenagers. The staff are all very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The rooms are clean and very comfortable, with the floors mopped and rooms made up every morning. Breakfast is great, a huge range of pastries, plus meats, cheeses, fruit and yogurt. Our favourite bit was the made to order omlettes and pancakes! The restaurant staff particularly were great with my son who had pancakes every morning (of course). The location……

“We had a lovely stay in Desenzano at Hotel Riviera, where Desenzano provided the perfect base for us to explore Lake Garda as we had been travelling Italy via trains. We had a balcony and lake view room, which provided gorgeous views and caught the morning sun. For us that was definitely worth upgrading for. The room felt spacious and modern. There was only a mini bar fridge in the room though, so storing any drinks to cool was a challenge, especially with the 30 degree heat. Only gripe with……
