“Very rural which we like but motorcycles can’t get to the property. Hard on small cars too. Water was stinky. Overall had a great time! ”

“Nice, peaceful farmhouse with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Close to vineyards and quaint villages with great restaurants, however the best thing about it is its proximity to the Old Rag Mountain trailhead. If you're planning to do that hike, this home is just a short walk to the trailhead so you won't have to worry about the parking issues, and after the hike, the hot tub on the home's deck is heavenly! Wonderful place for a wonderful get away!”

“It was a perfect combination for hubby and I. He likes the comfort and I love the outdoors. The stay was so comfortable, relaxing, and everything we both wanted and needed were close. The cabin is beautiful. It is a home away from home. Definitely highly recommended! ”

“The view from the deck is amazing! My partner and I spent the night in the hot tub looking at the stars above us, and we cooked with the kitchen equipment and ran the fireplace all night. It's definitely a very bumpy/rocky road to the house that's best conquered with an AWD car (or with their included 4x4s at the start of the gravel road), but it's 100% worth it!”

“Guys weekend trip, had a great time and everyone had plenty of room. ”

“The property is in excellent condition, and as described. The host is extremely responsive and provides fantastic detail about the property. Very quiet rural neighborhood down a gravel road. Fantastic views from the cabin. Only complaint is the king bed was overly firm and the frame was noisy. The comfort of the bed just didn't match the excellent quality of everything else in the property. We enjoyed the selection of DVDs, games, and jigsaw puzzles.”

“Great little cabin in the woods in a secluded area. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and cozy main room. Hot tub and fire pit supplied with wood are great additional amenities to enjoy. Would recommend for a nice escape to relax in the country. Communication with the property manager was easy and responded relatively fast. ”

“Beautiful, private location, very clean, super responsive host, every detail checked off. We would definitely stay again. Close to the national park entrance and local shopping. The hot tub and fire pit outside was icing on the cake. Highly recommend!”

“This place was so lovely and peaceful. It really is tucked away and has a cute little balcony. Lots of hiking nearby in Shenandoah. Would definitely stay here again. My only negative is the door to this room has a huge gap at the bottom and nothing around the outside giving any sort of sound buffer. So you can hear everything. Other than that, it was wonderful. ”
