“I spent a week to celebrate my 70th birthday with my adult children, and grandchildren. The house was nicely decorated yet cozy. Layout was great for all we wanted to do. The kitchen is well appointed and we mostly cooked in. Hot tub was a big hit... especially after hiking in the Shenandoah Park. Unit was clean. The littles enjoyed a nearby indoor water park. AC works well, but getting the upstairs cool enough made the downstairs family room and bedroom uncomfortably cold. ”

“The house suited our needs to celebrate with family time for an 80th birthday. We enjoyed the screened in porch and sitting on the deck around the fire pit. The beds were comfortable and the owner was very gracious. It was a good time for everyone. ”

“Leah, our host was very accommodating and communicative! There was a warm welcome before we even opened the door!The entire cabin was clean and ready for us! The beds were comfy, and although we didn’t use the hot tub or outdoor fireplace, and the gas grill was brand new! Above and beyond, pet bowls were even left out for our furry friend, even if we didn’t need them because we brought our own!We didn’t use any of the Massanutten Resort amenities, but a binder at the cabin was full of……

“Eighteen senior hikers stayed at Hensley Hollow Lodge for 4 nights. Our primary focus was hiking the Shenandoah NP. This cabin fit our group perfectly. Lots of room, comfortable beds, large hot tub. Only negatives were not enough bath towels for everyone. Also not enough coffee cups.”

“A home away from home! We had a fabulous stay - doing day hikes in the national park (Thornton Gap is an easy 30min drive) and spending family time cooking, playing games in the evenings. We appreciated all the nice details Diana arranged for our stay. So glad we chose this location! ”

“We stayed 4 nights at Creekside for my niece's college graduation and had wonderful time. When we arrived the home was spotless and everything was as advertised except better! Linens and towels were hotel quality. The kitchen was better stocked than any rental I have ever stayed at. The pool table, ping pong and foosball tables were a big hit with my family. The owners were great before, during and after our stay. We would definitely stay here again and will recommend to others! ”
