“What an incredible property! The home itself is stunning, only to be outdone by the breathtaking views. It was the perfect escape from the city. We enjoyed the ability to explore Luray (recommend Broad Porch Coffee) which was a convenient 20-25 minute drive away. But we really appreciated all of the amenities included at the property: fire pit, hot tub, grill and comfortable lIcing spaces. ”

“We loved this little cozy cabin! It was clean and comfortable, perfect for the two of us. The view was beautiful and the balcony and hot tub were so appreciated. The hosts were sweet to leave homemade cookies for us! We enjoyed a hike at Shenandoah River State Park and a nice dinner at The Chop House. We’ll definitely be back!”

“Stayed her with my boyfriend for his birthday. It was a nice getaway stay! The place was super cute and had everything you needed. We were able to go to the caverns and hangout around the house it did rain so we didn’t get to do many outdoor activities but still a beautiful scenery while watching scary movies. Definitely needed it.”

“We spent 4 nights at Solitude celebrating our 4th anniversary (actually 24 years together). The cabin, property, and area were just perfect for us and our dog. So relaxing to use the hot tub or sit by a fire after a day of exploring the Skyline Drive, Luray Cverns, the Civil War museum. Cooters was a hoot and dog friendly! ”

“My fiancé and I stayed here two nights for our anniversary and it was amazing! The cabin is adorable and the views are breathtaking even from the bedroom windows. Everything was clean, and anything we needed or didnt bring was already there for us. Property manager is very nice and promptly returned my message when I had a question about the firestick. Great location as well, with town being less than 10 min away. Overall loved this place and will definitely stay here again!”

“My husband and I stayed for two nights on our way to pick up our daughter for college dorm move out at the end of her school year. Could not have been happier! This place made for a perfect and peaceful getaway for two in a beautiful location. The house was adorable, clean, the beds super comfy, and had everything we needed. “Great family getaway. Cute and fun, i would just say it was lacking on providing full amenties and cleaniness. For example there was a brochure of listed items provided in cabin and their charges, we didnt have a couple of listed items such as the smores kit. Our unit was equipped with full items to cook with such as oil packets but the unit next to ours (used by same group) had oil and others things we did not. Just inconsistent with products available. With this in consideration i would rate……

“Plenty of space for 8 adults - fantastic rooms and beds. Really liked the secluded area - got to hear cows walk by in the morning!”

“Overall it was a great get away for a hiking trip. House was stocked well and laid out nicely. I would suggest more comfortable furniture for watching TV and hanging in the screen porch. Extra towels for hot tub would also be nice. We enjoyed our stay. As far as clean. The fridge was not cleaned out or clean. Everything else was clean!”
