“We had a great time at the Big Cypress Lodge! Our family really enjoyed the quiet and beauty of the property. Playing in the river was a big hit with the kids, and the fenced-in yard was great for the little ones!The house was really comfortable, and the open floor plan was great so everyone could be together.There are so many things to do in the area, too, that we had more than enough options for fun activies.”

“Perfect place for a relaxing getaway! We paddle boarded on the Suwannee river and swam in it! Loved Hart Springs, too. Walked up and down the dirt road with our dog. Made arts and crafts on the front porch. Cooked meals together. Ate together. Laughed. Relaxed! Some recommendations- We brought our own water filter as the water there smells like sulfur! Highly recommend you do, too! The grill did not seem to work- the temperature gauge is out. So we grilled over the fire we made in the barrel.……

“We have stayed at this cabin twice now and it’s been extremely pleasant each time. The cabin is always clean with everything always working. Dealing with the property manager is fantastic because they are quick to respond and work to ensure your needs are met.The property is close enough to have food delivered as well as Walmart! Internet is fast and the location is off the main road so you are tucked away into the woods, but within a 4 min drive to a major highway and 10 mins from Chiefland. ”

“The Cabin was great! Tucked in on a great property at the end of a dead-end. Location to Itchetucknee River was perfect! Great book of local things to do and eat! A/C was struggling to cool during the day, but nights were nice and cold. Would suggest getting/bringing a fan for the loft as heat rises. Beware of the kitchen faucet and the wasp nests all around the porch.”

“My fiance and I, along with one of our friends stayed here for Gatornationals and cannot say enough good about this place! Don’t let its size fool you, everything is high quality! The top bed was super-comfy and the linens were amazing. Like, softer and nicer than some high-end hotels. Our very tall, large friend slept on the sofa-converted-to-bed and said it was very comfortable; something he didn’t expect at all given it wasn’t a “true” bed. Honestly, we’ll take this place over a hotel ANY……

“Stayed here one night, very comfortable and a well designed small cabin. Not shown in the pictures, there’s a country road next to cabins . Intermittent internet so probably good idea to take a break from devices and enjoy the night ski ”
