“I really enjoyed my stay at the Murray Premises. The staff were courteous and the breakfast was well-stocked with fruit, muffins, croissants, coffee and juice. The location was perfect, the bed and room very comfortable with a historic grace to it you will not find at a soul-less corporate hotel. The only negative if you can call it that is that there are small signs where the hotel might be showing its age - loose handles, old caulking, tired this and tired that - easy fixes that if caught in……

“David was very congenial and made sure we had pleasant and comfortable stay. Parking was easy and the location was within easy walking distance of a number of attractions. ”

“Very comfortable, clean and well maintained. Hosts are lovely people, very friendly and helpful. Great location in upper Avalon, very close to St John's but a lovely rural setting. If you love birds you gotta stay here.”

“We stayed here last year on Friday night of the Labour day weekend as well. Great place...very quiet, out of the way of the main roads and highways. We have stayed in two different units and both were extremely clean, even clean smelling. Kudos to the housekeeper (we met her last year but I forget her name). The owners are also super nice and friendly. We have two kids, age 4 and 9 and found the place to be very spacious and inviting. Hoping to make this a yearly tradition of staying here Friday……

“We were upgraded from a 1 bedroom condo to a 3 bedroom condo on check-in. This alternative to a hotel room (for about the same price as a standard room) was much more comfortable and spacious. It is close to the city yet away from the lights and noise of the city. It was a nice relaxing getaway!”
